First measurement of beam-recoil observables C(x) and C(z) in hyperon photoproduction

Jefferson Lab - CEBAF. Measurement of the spin transfer coefficients Cx and Cz from circular polarized real photons to recoiling hyperons in the reactions GAMMA P --& gt; K+ Y where Y is either a LAMBDA or SIGMA0. Cz is the transfer coefficient along the photon momentum axis and Cx is the associated transverse coefficient. The data with incident photon energies from 1.53 to 2.74 GeV cover centre-of-mass energies W from 1.6 to 2.53 GeV are tabulated here as a function of the cosine of the angle of the K+ in the c.m system from -0.85 to +0.95..
